Built in 1501 by Malla Baire Gowda, a local chieftain, and later fortified by Hyder Ali and Tipu Sultan, Devanahalli Fort has witnessed centuries of strategic warfare and political shifts. It’s also the birthplace of Tipu Sultan, adding another layer of importance to the site.
